While improving our customers’ sleep is our primary priority, we’re also continuously working to protect the environment and our communities, too. Whether we’re giving back to local organizations near our headquarters in Lexington, KY, or focused on issues across the world, we’re dedicated to finding new ways to help those in need.
We’re committed to providing restorative sleep to as many people around the world as we can, and we’re also dedicated to connecting with and giving back to our community. We’re proud to offer both product and monetary donations to programs across the United States. By partnering with organizations like Ronald McDonald House Charities, Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Network, and military organizations, we remain true to our values of doing the right thing and caring about others. Last year, we donated more than 16,000 mattresses, and since 2011, we’ve donated more than 215,000 mattresses. The donations go to a variety of important charities, including veterans’ homes, military bases, homeless shelters, firehouses, natural disaster relief organizations and more. We love connecting and building relationships with others in our communities — because at the end of the day, we want to improve the sleep of more people, every night, all around the world.
With the same dedication we feel for our local communities, we’re also working just as passionately to protect the planet. We love finding innovative ways to improve our products, but we love new and innovative ideas to help the environment even more. This year, we’re focused on green energy and ways we can reduce our carbon footprint now and into the future. We’re incredibly excited about the progress we’ve made so far, including implementing solar power technology at our largest mattress manufacturing plant in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and our commitment to using cleaner and more sustainable energy.
In 2020, we sourced 100% renewable energy for our US and European manufacturing operations. We’re also dedicated to achieving zero-landfill waste for these facilities by the end of 2022 and carbon neutrality for our global operations by 2040.
We’re proud to be more than just a mattress company. Be sure to check out our LinkedIn page to keep up to date with company news and hear other community stories!
