We are writing to express our gratitude of EXCELLENT customer service from Jan, at your Kenwood Towne Center in Cincinnati Ohio. The shipping company that was to bring our bed (JB Hunt) did not get our bed to us on the scheduled delivery day. We expressed several times to not bring the bed on a semi, it had to be a box truck to fit in our driveway. Delivery day came and JB hunt brought a semi. My husband called and spoke with Jan as she oversaw the process of making everything right. Her level of professionalism and compassion for her customer was above and beyond. She was very sympathetic and valued our feelings over the situation. We received our bed and it is Amazing! I am actually writing this email from it! :) We just wanted to thank you for having employees that are passionate about the product that they represent and their customers as well. Jan went above and beyond, even comping us 2 sheet sets for our inconvenience. Jan is a great example of what great customer service is. We bought our first Tempur-Pedic mattress, a Celebrity (King), in September of 2008. We began having several problems with it which the Tempur-Pedic Warranty Department quickly addressed by processing a warranty claim, thus instructing us to pick a new mattress since the Celebrity has since been discontinued. Shortly after the claim was approved in March of last year, we decided on a GrandBed; However, at the time the GrandBed did not come in a Split King compatible with the Ergo Bases that we wanted. On the advice of the warranty department, we waited until the Split King GrandBed became available.
We found ourselves in the Kenwood Towne Center last Saturday looking to verify that the GrandBed was still what we wanted before finalizing the claim; we were greeted by Mr. Charles Harwood immediately upon entering the store. My husband, Adam, quickly explained the reason for our visit so if Charles had other customers who may need his attention that we would not take his time away from them. Needless to say, the fact that our visit was based on a warranty replacement did not phase Charles in the least. Not only did he give us his full attention and answer any and all of our questions, but he was also gracious and attentive to my customer “quirkiness.” He provided us with valuable insight based on both personal and professional experience with Tempur-Pedic products and by the end of our visit he was able to help us find the perfect compromise – a Split King Cloud Supreme Breeze with Premier Ergo Bases. Although we had only stopped into the store in search of a GrandBed.
